Tang Swords is a project established by Kim Tang in New England USA to hand craft wooden swords. Our swords are patterned after traditional Chinese dao and jian designs and hand built using ethically sourced hardwoods.  We strive to produce faithful representations of real antique weapons and replicate their size, weight and balance point as closely as possible.  Careful selection of wood species and supplies means our swords are highly suitable for forms practice and light contact sparring.
